Highfields Holiday Park is an established, friendly and welcoming caravan park ideally located for walking the Gower Coast and visiting areas such as Rhossili, Oxwich, Reynoldston and Three Cliffs Bay. The Caravan is within easy walking distance of Port Eynon Beach, local shops, pubs and cafe's. The site is located approximately 25 miles from Swansea City Centre and relatively near to five highly recommended Golf Courses. The site does not have a clubhouse but favours a relaxed and family oriented approach to holidaying based on other recreational activities such as walking, fishing and generally exploring the Gower Peninsula, the first area in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Facitilies
Port Eynon is the furthest point on the Gower Coast and enjoys good bus services into Swansea City Centre that boasts South Wales' Premier Attraction, The LC2 (www.thelcswansea.com) and a new Waterfront Museum. The City also has two large Cinema Complexes. More local to Highfields is the Gower Heritage Centre that is based around a 12th Century water powered corn mill with attractions including craft shops, play areas and farm animals (www.gowerheritagecentre.co.uk). If you want to travel further to West Wales, you can visit the "Best Family Day Out in Wales" award winners, Folly Farm (www.folly-farm.co.uk).
